This was a busy and productive weekend for Pitt County Robotics. On Saturday, November 5, we held the FLL tournament at South Central High School. 27 Teams attended and our own ACE Benefactors took the top prize. We’re very proud of all of the participants. We could not have had such a great day without the support of Pitt County Schools and all of the people who volunteered. We had so many wonderful volunteers (judges, event helpers and team volunteers) and this would not have been possible without them. We had great support from the FLL operational partners at NC A&T. Dr. Bennet and Shala Sharpe were both in attendance for this early season FLL opener.
A lot of our team members were in place to garner their volunteer hours at the FLL tournament and at the Barnes and Nobles Book Fair. Thanks for all your hard work! Both events went very well. We are getting ready to lock in the details and release our student selections. Keep up the hard work and keep an eye on your emails for updates. We reviewed the roster and removed another group of names on November 1. You may find your name missing on the roster if you haven’t seen us in a while. Make sure you sign in at the meetings and events so we will be able to track your progress. The next student meeting is on Tuesday, November 8. There will be another student meeting on November 15, but no meeting on November 22. Team rosters will be posted the week of November 20. Everybody should get an email to let them know their status. See me if you have any questions. Mr. Bill
