I want to send a big THANK YOU to all the folks who helped Pitt County Robotics have an amazing day at THOR! Boneyard and the Pitt Pirates went to Cary Academy to play in the THOR (Thundering Herd of Robots) off season event. Boneyard earned the 5th seed position and the Pitt Pirates pulled the 1st seed.  BOTH teams made a great showing in the finals. Boneyard lead their alliance to the semi-finals (with Team 2059 and 6004 ) and Pitt Pirates (Thanks to some TERRIFIC work by Team 1533 and Team 4795)  won the Championship!

We had a wonderful day! So many people to thank and so little space 😉 Thanks to our students and parents who jumped in to the crazyness again. Thanks to our mentors and coaches who came back even though they already know what to expect! The THOR planning committee and FIRST North Carolina have been very busy and Cary Academy was a great venue. We have so many important sponsors and supporters here in Pitt County! Thanks for believing in us!

NO regular meeting this week. Get some rest. Catch up on your school work. Football game this weekend. We will be cleaning up the roster next week. When we met on October 4, the roster will be shorter. Remember, we need to see you at the meetings and at the outreach events. Super work so far! Keep it up! Mr. Bill
