On March 17th and 18th, we made the journey out to UNC Pembroke to compete in our second district competition of the 2018 PowerUp game! An early morning start and seeing some familiar faces on Saturday was a great way to start the weekend. All weekend our team cheered on everyone and enjoyed making new friends and being reunited with old friends. Smiles went all around as the team and our friends advanced through the ranks through the weekend landing us in 1st place with a perfect score leading into the finals. We aligned with the Hitchhikers and RobCoBots to finish off the finals against our shopmates Boneyard Robotics. We came out on top finishing off the weekend undefeated! We also came home with the Safety Award and the Engineering Inspiration Award.
