On March 10th and 11th, the Pitt Pirates made a big splash with their robot Riptide at the District level competition at Minges Coliseum. After starting the weekend off bright and early with some cheery good morning chants to welcome fellow teams, our team spent the days competing hard and cheering for every team even harder. After the tough two days of competition, we aligned with the Hitchhikers and Armored Eagles in the third seed alliance and managed to rise up and win our first competition this season! At the end of the night, some members stayed back to help with field clean up.
