Pitt Pirates Robotics came out of the Raleigh Event as District Winners for the second time this season by winning 16 of their 19 matches. They were ranked #1 going into the alliance selection and selected 5190 Green Hope Falcons and 6004 f(x) Robotics to join them. It proved to be a winning trio. Not only did 2642 win the event but also took home the Industrial Design Award and the Hard Hat Award for Safety.
