We had some Amazing competition in Greensboro! I want to thank all of the students, parents, mentors and sponsors for making this possible. Everybody worked VERY hard and we had a great run. Minus some mechanical problems, I feel very good about this and I’m very proud of all the students and mentors. We ended up ranked #8. That was one of our goals: to be in the top 8 and an alliance captain. We brought home the Engineering Inspiration award and the UL Safety award. THAT IS GREAT! I am also very proud of Boneyard Robotics who brought home the Jack Kamen Imagery award. This just goes to show how important our safety and marketing groups are to this team. Thanks again to all the people who worked so hard to make this possible. We will have a team meeting this week to go over the competition and talk about improvements for Raleigh. (Date TBD) We will also meet with the pit crew to prepare materials for next week. Advance team leaves for Raleigh on Friday afternoon. The whole team will join us on Saturday.
